I'm Raven. I've been breathing for 17 years and am currently surviving in the city of "Brotherly Love". I was born in the state & city where Rock N' Roll legends are remembered and where Drew Carey danced through the streets, but I always feel like my real home has been in the south where the state is shaped like the letter it starts with :] I'm short. Like, 162 cm short D: Fun sized. I'm mulatto [black & white]. I'm very friendly. I don't seem to meet many people's standards and that's fine with me. I'm not made for everyone. :] My speech is mainly "white washed". I'm a naturally caring person who will give you their heart if you promise not to break it, but you can't obtain it that easily. I'm loyal and someone who gets easily uncomfortable in a tense atmosphere while becoming more easygoing and carefree in a happy and full atmosphere. Love is not a word I throw around like a ragdoll. When I say it, I mean it. Trust doesn't come easy for me. I don't stick to one color when it comes to relationships. I'm up for getting along with anyone. I'm really easy to make friends with, at least that's what I'm told :3 Naturally when I first talk to you, I'm shy and nervous but that will all go to hell once we start talking more :] I have the worst sleeping pattern and I'm always trying to diagnose myself with something lol. I'm the person who gives others advice that she should be taking herself. I have weird thoughts, like, things you'd call any person paranoid or odd for thinking of. I'm convinced that anything good wont last for long, so I often try and make the best of it. Anything and everything I do is never done halfheartedly. I'm a determined person. I'm not good with starting conversations, but I try :x I'm affectionate & love hugs. <3 I've got a mother-complex and I hate hospitals with a fiery passion. It's like torture to go near/into one. I keep christmas lights up around my window all year long. I can be a smart mouth without meaning to be. I have a really good sense of humor. I'm a constant procrastinator and a perfectionist, but i'm not uptight at all. I get easily distracted. I'm told that i'm too nice for my own good, but that doesn't mean I'll let you take advantage of it. I'm not stupid. I have the worst fear of being replaced and/or forgotten. It doesn't take much to make me laugh or smile and I enjoy the simplest of things. I know what I want to do, but then I don't. I'm all for laughs and having fun. I'm honest; I have no reason to lie. I'm really not sure what my future's going to be like and I don't know where I'll be, but I have an idea at least. I want to change things, I want to create things, I want to actually enjoy what I do. I'm a movie buff with a sweet tooth for Asian dramas ;D My journal is pretty much random and includes normal teenage angst and emotional stuff, so if you can keep up with it feel free to friend me :3

| | I'd Go Crazy Without..
MUSIC. Everywhere. I always have my music with me. If I dont, then my mood is pretty lame thoughout the day. Jrock, Kpop, Visual Kei, [underground] Kr&b/Rap, Shibuya, Electronica/Experimental/House, and Oshare Kei, are my main loves <3 In general though, I have an eclectic taste in music. I don't care about genre or what language it's in; If I like it, I like it.  11.11.08 marks the greatest concert I've ever been to. Not to mention the best day and throughout and it's all thanks to Dir en grey. They're my all time favorite band. Miyavi is my all time favorite artist and guitarest as well as one of my biggest influences in life. No one can make me think otherwise. <3 Big Bang and Epik High are my favorite r&b/dance/rap groups next to DBSK, NewS & KAT-TUN. I need orange juice D: I'm obsessed. <3 I need concerts; I'm a show-a-holic. There's no month where I don't go to at least 2-3 shows. The rush of a live is just amazing to me and the people you meet are some of the best. I need my amazing friends; the new and old. meet them? :D You're going to hear these names a lot in my LJ if you add me xD
Tyler is the equivalent of an older sister to me; my unni c: She's been my best friend for 6 years now and forever counting. She is basically family to me. We're attached by the hip, so don't expect to find one without the other. Even after moving states away we're always in contact. I looooove her to death. She's one of the few important people in my life that I could never stand to lose. You wont hear about my future without her in it. Our bond is something I don't expect anyone to understand. I know that out of anyone that she's the person that's behind me 100% ♥ Stefanie & Stephan [a.k.a Stef n' Steph] are like family to me also. They're the craziest couple in history, I swear. Stefanie is definately a bestie to me. She's hi-fucking-larious to the max. I lie to you not. I can't go days without this girl and not laugh my ass off. She schools me on my street smarts and her home has become like a second one to me, lol. I'm always in and out of that house ♥ Stephan is a whole species of his own. An army man who is strong like bull >[! LOL. He's like an older brother to me along with his three other little mini brother versions of him. Together, they wreak havoc all day and it's like Stefanie and I are watching a bunch of kids. baha. Ren & Domi are the first online friends that I can seriously say are people I wouldn't mind meeting in real life. They're seriously two of the most amazing people. Ren = my taco man + MUCC buddy while Domi Diiie is my Andou Daisuke loving twin xD They're completely crazy and I love'em to death. I really do. They're two of the main reasons why I'm still on Myspace. xD ♥ Michael & Ny always keep me in check whenever I do something stupid [just like Stefanie does lulz]. I can always count on them to have my back whenever I need them. Alina a.k.a Grandmom [xDD inside joke] is the sweetest person ever D: omfg. <3 She is my technology guru and she gives the best advice. Korey and I go back to the 7th grade. He's a guy with great ambitions and his music is taking him to new heights <3 I couldn't be more proud of my kid brother. We don't get to talk as much, but whenever we do, it's as if we've been attached to each other for years. You wouldn't have known that we lived so far apart. Ahhh, a day without my friends can be so boring. They are always there for me and can make me laugh when no one else can and give the best advice. Gahh, I love my friends to the ends of everything.  Miku is another reason for me to stick around on Myspace. I've only known him for a year or so. The way we talk isn't on the daily, but it doesn't have to be xD Besides, he's a busy boy these days. Nevertheless, we enjoy chatting with each other whenever either of us can. Whether it's via MSN [rarely] or the space, it doesn't matter. He's like my Miyavi, to be honest. It's not even just looks, but the personality is totally there xD I remember how we started a conversation about a month ago, and it's still going, actually. xD One day he's going to show me all of the cool spots he knows in Tokyo and we're gonna have a bitchin' time :] |
